To Wick - follow the A9 north past
Inverness until you reach the village of Latheron about thirty miles
from Thurso. Follow the signs to get to Wick. To get to the swimming
pool, head towards the town centre and as you pass the hospital you
should reach a small roundabout. Turn right at the round about and go
down along the river side. Carry on for a few hundred metres and the
swimming pool should be on your right.
To Ackergill - Go out of Wick past the Airport Industrial Estate, and carry on for roughly two miles. There will be a turning to the right signposted 'Ackergill'. Turn here and continue down. There is a small car park just in front of the harbour. To reach the boat shed, walk along the coast towards Ackergill Tower and it's the second hut on the left.
